1. Overview

Banana Prompts operates on a credit-based system. Credits are a digital good purchased in advance and consumed when you generate or download images. Because credits are digital goods that can be used immediately upon purchase, special refund conditions apply as outlined below.

3. EU Right of Withdrawal

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers in the European Union have a 14-day cooling-off period during which they may withdraw from a purchase without giving any reason.

Important exception: In accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the supply of digital content has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. By using credits to generate an image, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the service.

If you have purchased credits but have not used any of them, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

4. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:

  • Unused credits — If none of the purchased credits have been consumed, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Technical failures — If a generation fails due to a platform error and credits are deducted but no image is delivered, we will either restore the credits to your account or issue a partial refund.
  • Duplicate charges — If you are charged more than once for the same transaction, we will refund the duplicate amount in full.

Refunds are generally not available for credits that have already been used to generate or download images, as these constitute consumed digital goods.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at [email protected] with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • Date of purchase
  • Credit package purchased
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Stripe payment receipt or confirmation email (if available)

6. Processing Time

Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
